Minority Aging Conference
Every Elder Counts: Building Ethnic, Cultural, Intergenerational and Geographical Bridges. Sponsored by the Oklahoma Task Force on Minority Aging.

Senior Day at the Capitol
Seniors from across the state will converge on the Capitol to discuss senior issues. Senior Advocates and Area Agencies on Aging sponsor Senior Day at the Capitol held each spring in Oklahoma City.

Senior Spelling Bee
NODA AAA hosts a spelling bee, which is open to all anyone 60 years of age and older. The winners are eligible to participate in the state contest held during the State Conference on Aging in Norman.

Senior Poetry Contest
A celebration of senior talent is open to all poets 60 years of age and a resident of Oklahoma. All poems will be submitted to the OK DHS Aging Services Division for judging. Winners will be announced at the State Conference on Aging held in Norman.

State Conference on Aging
Conference sponsored by DHS Aging Services Division and Oklahoma AAA’s and held at the NCED Marriott Conference Center in Norman.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
Grandparents across the country, regardless of income, background, or race are becoming parents again. These conferences assist grandparents meet their needs as well as those of the grandchildren
