is a planning, coordinating, and funding agency based in Oklahoma. We provide services and support to to individuals 60 years of age and older, helping them remain independent in their homes. NODA-AAA also provides support for caregivers and families of the elderly in the Oklahoma area.
The Area Agencies on Aging are grassroots organizations built to respond to the needs elderly people have in in their community. Each AAA manages programs and services designed to meet the needs of its particular area. Their mission is to deliver easily accessible, top-quality services that sustain healthy lifestyles and support self-sufficiency in the agin population.
Information & Assistance services provides a comprehensive one-stop service designed to inform the public of the benefits and services available to senior citizens and their families.
Information & Assistance Coordinator assists older adults and their family caregivers to access benefits and services and act as "problem solvers" when problems arise. I&A coordinators assist the older person find services in their communities which meet their needs that may enable them to remain in their own home
Information & Assistance Coordinator provides comprehensive assistance by phone, to walk-ins, and through home visits.
Older adults may obtain information such as where to get medications, medical equipment, home repairs, dental assistance, eyeglass assistance and hearing aids. By "knowing where to go" for assistance, older person can have limited resources and remain in their home.
